Yanghe distillery was founded in 1949. After putting forward the innovative series: Yanghe Spirit Classic, the brand quickly became the leader of mellow Baijiu, with significant competitive strength in the domestic market. The recipe behind the mellow and sweet taste is actually much older than the distillery itself. With a storage cellar for base liquor having more than one-hundred-year history, “Water from the Spring of Beauty” is now producible.
Baijiu is a traditional alcoholic beverage from China.It is strong distilled from grains, generally about 40-60% alcohol by volume.It can be similar in appearance to vodka, but it has a unique flavor that is not comparable to any other type of spirit .Baijiu is often classified based on five fragrance: “Sauce”, thick, light, rice and layered.Yanghe falls in the category of thick fragrance.
The origin of Yanghe – Suqian enjoys a warm and moist climate. Deep red and slightly acidic,its loamy soil is full of organic matter and has hundreds of types of micro-organisms that are beneficial to the human body.The soil contains a type of bacillus that spurs the production of matter essential to the fermentation process, makes it ideal for pit cellars – fermentation tanks in this environment produce spirits that are both sweet and fragrant.
